What We Collect

We collect your name, email, and profile picture via Google or Apple Sign-In. If you choose, you can also provide your Tax File Number (TFN), Australian Business Number (ABN), superannuation fund name, phone number, and visa type. We collect payslip data (employer, income, hours, dates) when you upload payslips. Marketplace listings may include contact email and phone.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to calculate your 88-day visa progress, display your payslip history, and enable marketplace features (jobs, cars, housing, roadtrips). Payslip content is processed by an AI language model (LLM) for data extraction only. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data Security

Sensitive fields (TFN, ABN) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Files (payslips, CVs, photos) are stored on AWS S3 with server-side encryption (AES-256). All data in transit is protected with TLS/HTTPS. JWT tokens are used for authentication with automatic rotation.

AI Processing

Payslip content is sent to a third-party AI language model (LLM) for text extraction. Your data is not used for model training and is processed in accordance with the provider's API data policies.

Data Sharing

Your first name and last initial may appear on insurance reviews. Marketplace listings (jobs, cars, housing, roadtrips) display only the contact info you choose to provide. We do not share your TFN, ABN, or financial data with other users.

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time. This permanently removes all your data including payslips, CVs, listings, and uploaded files. Backups may retain anonymized data for up to 30 days after deletion.

Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your personal data at any time through the app settings. You can request a full export of your data by contacting us. Under Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and GDPR (for EU users), you have the right to data portability and erasure.
